Hello People!

I know I haven't posted in a while, sorry about that. I've just been busy!

My recent life.

I went back to school.

I'm back to being the tuba player.

I'm too wimpy to carry the sousaphone, and the actual tuba in any kind of marching.

The band teacher has no idea what to do.

Wow, I'm just that awesome.

Not really.

My birds are being excessively loud and I fed them less than fifteen minutes ago.

My life is kinda boring. I wish the birds would be quieter 'cause my fingers hurt from smacking the desk every time they start squawking.

Okay. About the whole tuba deal. I have no idea how I'm gonna march in the football game Friday after next if I can't carry any of the three tubas at school. I guess I'll have to bring the small tuba, which is currently in my parents' bedroom, to school to try and see if I can carry that one while marching. If I can't, well, I'm screwed. If it comes down to that, I get temporarily demoted to the suckish status of baritone player. Just for one night, though! Then I'm back up to tuba until I start high school next year! After that, I don't know.

Ooh, another interesting band thing in the near future. IMEA, the Illinois Music Educators' Association, has a festival every November, and in October there are auditions, and I have made the choice to audition! But only because of the small number of other tuba players who audition. Ten is the usual number of auditioners, but six to eight get picked. It's not that much of a challenge, people! I mean, it is, but still, I only have to really beat out two to four other people! The auditions are next week, the fifteenth. (I know I haven't told you yet, mom, but now you know!)

I have three parakeets now! The new one is green and I named him Archimedes. Fibonacci, Wycliffe, and Archimedes like to squawk a lot.

My brothers and mom are arguing. Not a rare thing here, with a one year old and a three year old and Mom trying to translate between them. Tommy is fake-crying and ignoring Mom. Danny is playing with a train or something.

Nothing much happened yesterday.

I'm bored. You probably are too. I guess I'll go now, especially since I need something to eat.

Bye,
RJ
